It turns out the the moderator for the VP debate, Martha Raddatz, is a friend of Barak Obama. Her former husband, Julius Genachowski,who was tapped by Obama to head up the Federal Communications Commission, were classmates at Harvard. Obama was a guest at their wedding.
ABC News is trying to downplay all of this and sent out a pre-emptive statement to several left wing outlets such as Politico and Huffington Post to bury the story. One has to ask how impartial will Raddatz be, in light of the importance of this debate after the drubbing Obama received in his debate with Mitt Romney.
What I can not understand is why the republicans would accept left leaning moderators for all of the debates.
