Pat Caddell, certainly no right winger, says it is very scary how far the times will go to prop up Obama. If your only source of information is the NY Times, you would have no idea what has been happening in regards to Benghazi.
On Fox News Sunday, Laura Ingram asked Jeff Zeleny, the NY Times political reporter, why the Times was camped out at Scooter Libby's house during the Plame affair, but not camped out at UN Ambassador Susan Rice's home. Zeleny had that 'deer in the headlights' look, especially when Brit Hume agreed with Ingram.
Some one told Susan Rice what to say on those five Sunday shows she appeared on. One would think that the Times, the self proclaimed paper of record, would want to know who told her. Was it some one from the intelligence community or a political person, say maybe Axelrod or Jarrett.
Caddell is spot on in calling the Times out of this. One has to wonder just how close the relationship between the Times and the Obama campaign actually is!
