Diplomats in Libya made repeated requests for increased security in Benghazi, but all those requests were denied by the State Department. One would think that after two bombings at the consulate in Benghazi, (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/10/02/u-s-consulate-in-benghazi-bombed-twice-in-run-up-to-9-11-anniversary.html), security would have been beefed up. Add to that threats that were made against the consulate, one has to wonder why security was not increased. Some one made a conscious decision not to pay head to these requests or warning sings.
The question now becomes who is responsible for these decisions and how does it go. Did our murdered Ambassador relay his concerns to State and if so, why were they not heeded. It is no wonder that this administration is trying to cover all this up. It is really a damn pity that the MSM is incapable of doing its job and properly investigate what happened and who is responsible. I guess getting Obama re-elected is more important than the truth!
The question that needs to be answered is , who knew what and when did they know it. There have been several reports that the Obama administration knew it was a terror attack within twenty four hours, but still they clung to their story that is was all caused by some video trailer. One must ask why.
The administration sent the FBI to investigate, but no one secured the scene. It was so open, CNN was able to obtain the Ambassador's journal. Now they have pulled out all staff,(http://www.theatlanticwire.com/global/2012/10/us-pulls-all-its-staff-out-benghazi/57491/), and the FBI has not been to the scene, because it is too dangerous. Not that any evidence could be obtained as the scene was never properly secured!
The families of those murdered and the American people deserve the truth!
