OBAMA BEGS DEFENSE CONTRACTORS TO BREAK THE LAW

The Obama administration has issued new "guidelines" to defense contractors, in the usual Friday night data dump, to skirt the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN).  WARN compels companies of more than 100 employees to give notification 60 days ahead of any plant closing and/or mass layoffs.

Defense contractors, with sequestration looming, would be in violation of the law should they not notify their employees of possible looming job cuts.  These notifications would come just a few days before the election, so it looks like the Obama administration is trying to avoid this as it might jeopardize his re-election.  After all, re-election is job one for Obama.

Is this a new-style executive order? I am hoping that the Republicans in VA are finding ways to get the word out on this despicable sneaky action.
