War on Terror

Having spent some time looking at news coverage and surfing some of the blogs, I have noticed that the news media nad liberal leaning blogs think that coverage of the prinsoner abuses is far more important then the heinous execution of Nick Berg. In fact, there seems to be a blame America, blame Bush undercurrent in some of these site. Some have even come right out and blamed America, Bush and one site even blamed Nick Berg.

With the news media, it is easy to understand. They will do what ever they can to see Bush is defeated. The liberal blogs are the same and of course, some of the more left leaning blogs blame every thing on America.


When are these people going to get their heads out of their asses and realize that the only people responsible for Nick Berg's murder are those that committed the murder?

To those that claim it was the invasion of a terrorist supporting state like Iraq, I say to them then why was Daniel Pearl beheaded? Why were almost 3000 people killed on 9/11? Why had their been terror attacks on Americans and American interests prior to 9/11?

It is very simple really. These people hate us. They want us all dead. They know that America is the only one standing in their way as they seek to turn the entire Middle East into a 4th century Islamic theocracy. After the achieve that, Europe would be next on their agenda, starting in Turkey and spreading west. they already know they can cower some European countries. But not America. So they have to continue to kill us, hoping that the left wing appeasers and yes, cowards, will be given control of the US government. John Kerry will run to the UN for permission to defend this country. He will not stand up to thugs and murderers.

The war on terror will not be won over night. It will not be won in a single climatic battle. It will take time and fortitude. It will take the blood of our young warriors in far away places. It will take the blood of us here at home. We will be attacked here, there is no doubt in my mind about that. What we need to do is be sure that any attack does not involve WMDs. And yes saddam had them and the capability to produce more.

We must not lose our will to win and to perservere over this evil.
